| The Mothers’ Center of the South Shore was formed over 10 years ago to promote the positive aspects of parenthood and families by offering playgroups, parent education and support groups, parent and child activities and resource materials.
Our belief is that mothering is an important and demanding occupation, with good and bad experiences, which can bring on conflicting feelings.
The Center offers a place for sharing, listening, learning, and supporting one another. We believe that it is important to grow and learn through a free and confidential exchange of ideas and current information on child rearing and other topics.
The Center is a non-profit organization, operated by parent members and provides both a non-judgmental, affirming environment for parents and a safe place for children to play and learn to socialize with other kids.
